Hong Kong
Now a Special Administrative Region of China, this former Crown Colony has capitalism and wealth written all over it. ‘Made in Hong Kong’ is almost as familiar as ‘Made in China’ or ‘Made in Taiwan’ and whilst there was uncertainty in the time of the transfer of power to China, this 1,000 sq km of South-East Asia remains one of the world’s leading financial and trading centres. Christians of all persuasions are in a minority. Most people turn to Buddhism and Taoism.
