
Brazil is the largest country in South America and the fifth largest in the world. Intermarriage has led to a diversity of people with European, African, Asian and Amerindian backgrounds. Present Work
More than 50 brethren missionaries serve in Brazil alongside 3,000 other missionaries of diverse mission groups. The brethren work is based around:

Radio broadcasting (daily and weekly), undertaken by both UK and national workers
Prison visitation
Translation work (mainly ministry and Bible courses), Bible bookshop, Bible course work
A daily crèche for 50 children and a retirement home for the elderly
